Leslie Marfil is a french contemporary dancer, choreographer and movement director based in New York


Her career began at 18 in Paris, performing at the Jeune Ballet Européen with choreographers such as Emmanuel Vignoulle, Benjamin Lamarche, and Anthony Despras. In 2021, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Ballet Education under Floriane Blitz and joined MaisonM to perform in Emmanuelle Soum’s creation "EVE88". She was later invited to perform in "Brunch" by Kaori Ito, featuring Oscar-winning composer Clément Ducol.
In 2023, Leslie moved to the United States and joined Visceral Dance Chicago, performing pieces by Roderick George, Gustavo Ramírez Sansano and Eduardo Zúñiga. During this time, she choreographed her first original piece, "DONJON64".
In Los Angeles, she danced for Diavolo, Mike Tyus & Co and collaborated with Daniel Kersh and Alejandro Perez. She also directed her first short-film, "YOU CAN’T REMEMBER YOUR NAME" at the Vasquez Rocks.
In New York City, she performed for designer Gideon Gomm from GUCCI Changemakers in collaboration with movement director Vive. She expands her artistic language at the intersection of dance and theater by choreographing a solo at the Brick Theater and started working for Assaf Salhov on "Le Ballet Fou".
